1) Navigate to the Bluetooth setup menu on your mobile phone (this is located in the setup or connections menu).
2) Make sure your Nica Sunrise is turned on by sliding the power switch to the on position. The blue LED should flash twice very few seconds. Now hold down the answer button until the LED flashes blue and red. The headset is now in pairing mode.
3) Select look for devices or add devices in the Bluetooth menu on your phone.
4) The phone will find Nica, asking if you would like to pair to it. Select Nica and your phone will automatically pair to it.
5) Before it pairs, your phone may request a code - if it does, type in 0000 - now your phone will automatically pair to Nica.

Once your Nica Sunrise v2 is paired to your mobile phone, you can connect it by briefly pressing the answer button on the headset. It will also connect to your phone when you power the headset on. Finally, you can connect to Nica Sunrise using the Bluetooth menu on your phone.
When your Nica Sunrise is connected to your phone, the blue LED will blink once every few seconds. If it is not connected, the blue LED will blink twice every few seconds.
Pairing is the Bluetooth process of initially associating your nica headset with your phone. Pairing is done once. Connecting your headset is required to receive a call audio in the headset. You must connect your headset to your phone if for some reason the connection between the headset is lost - for example if you moved the phone or headset out of range of each other.
Mobile phones typically provide a menu for selecting an audio output device during a call. For example, if your phone includes a speakerphone and also has Bluetooth, you can switch between handset, speakerphone, or the Bluetooth headset. Consult your phone manual to find this function on your particular phone.
You can adjust the volume using the + and - volume buttons on the headset. The volume buttons on your mobile phone also control the volume of the headset during a call.
The original Nica headset can only be paired and used with one phone at a time, but the new Nica Sunrise v2 has Multi-point technology, allowing it to be paired to two phones at the same time.
Yes. For example, you can have a Nica Sunrise headset that you keep and use in your car, and one in your office. Both of the headsets can be paired with your phone. However, only one headset can be connected at a time.
So that its comfortable and secure on your ear, we designed Nica Sunrise with separately shaped right and left ear clips. To install the left ear clip, its best to refer to the headset manual. nicaConnect is a proprietary Maverick technology that automatically reconnects your Nica Sunrise headset to your phone every time you get into your car.
You can turn off the nicaConnect function using the sliding switch on the bottom side of the car dock.
The blue LED ring on the car dock will automatically turn off after a few minutes if there is no motion or vibration in the car. A small percentage of cars have cigarette lighter jacks that are always powered (even when the keys are removed from the ignition). The LED time-out keeps the LEDs from needlessly draining the car battery. The LEDs will turn back on if the car dock is minimally vibrated.
The nica headset will still charge even if the blue LEDs turn off.
The red LED only illuminates when nica is charging. If the red LED is not on when nica is on a charging dock, the headset is fully charged. If you feel that the headset is not fully charged, then make sure the dock is plugged in to power.
